The Start of It All

The opportunity arose for me to be able to open a shop on Etsy, I could think of nothing better than being able to embrace my spirituality and bring to the world some witchy handcrafted goods. It started with wanting a unique beaded item. I wanted something where someone could bring it around with them without necessarily being jewelry. The idea came to do a key-chain for people to hold onto their practice when not home. Next, I wanted to make a spell kit that was more immersive, then just getting a spell, and a candle. I wanted to bring in how I do my practice, which surrounds journaling, pulling Tarot/Oracle Cards, and Yoga. First, I knew I had to include a mini-journal, and I knew I had to make the paper that comes with the kit to include these other practices. When making these, it came to me easily and I knew was the right direction that my kits must go. When first putting together the physical parts of the kits, I knew something else was missing. I felt like my writing was helping the uniqueness and creativity, but I didn't have anything "crafty" to go with my kits. I began brainstorming. Finally arrived to use the key-chain idea for my self-love kits in mini form. Then, mini witch bells for the protection kits. And finally wands for the prosperity kits. It all came together at that point. I hope that this really takes off and others see my passion for what I've done so far.
